About Carolyne . . .
Originally from Auburn, Maine Carolyne is an actress and writer who currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
After graduating from the University of Southern California phi beta kappa in 2013, Carolyne continued to work on various short films and multi-media projects. Last year she graduated from the Groundlings improv school, passing Advanced Improv. She hopes to begin Writing Lab when the world begins to shift back towards normal.
During her time at the Groundlings, Carolyne connected with a group of fabulously funny people, including her former Advanced teacher Roy Jenkins, who formed The Interlocutors. Every Wednesday at noon they perform a Lunchtime Long-form show. You can follow them on Facebook or Youtube. Catch them live to give suggestions or peruse the vault of older episodes.
Although 2020 had its challenges, Carolyne found the positive in an abundance of free time which she used to come into full alignment with her vision and goals. In finding her authentic voice she connected with Michelle Zeitlin, of More Zap Productions and Management, whom she met while mixing drinks at her day job. Michelle's infectious positive attitude and creativity inspired Carolyne to take the risk and reach out as an artist. The two like minded creatives have been working together ever since. Commercially she recently signed with Taylor Talent Services.
Carolyne is also an accomplished writer, having been published by Deep House Amsterdam and covering festivals like Lightning in a Bottle and Burning Man. Currently she is working on her first screenplay and is excited to bring the story to full and vibrant life through the magic of film.
